i can has an update?

Well, it’s been a while (yet again), but at least this time I have an excuse. Yeah yeah blah blah, I know, it’s always the same “I’ve been busy” line, but it’s totally true. Such is my life.
Anyway, a couple of days after we got back from the cruise, EJ flew in from Utah to visit. She mostly hung around the house while I was at work and visited a school she is thinking about doing her gradschool stuff at when she moves to ATL (woot!). Then a couple of days after EJ got here, Alyssa and Sarah flew in from Philly!
We mostly just hung around, happy to have The Sheep back together 😀 We went to Fellini’s and Waffle House (Alyssa had never been!) and to the Georgia Aquarium (which was *amazing*) and to the CNN center for a quick tour, complements of I-know-everyone-in-Atlanta-Eugene. We had a Harry Potter Marathon Pajama Party since I’d never seen any of them and Erik and Alyssa are both HP geeks. All in all, it was absolutely wonderful and seeing my Girls was the best Christmas present I ever could’ve asked for 🙂

Christmas was low-key since we were both tapped out after the cruise, but Erik surprised me with tickets to go see PBR at the Gwinnett Center. I hadn’t been to rodeo since I lived in California and it was fun to get to see some of the greats ride.
There are some changes coming my way in the very near future, I’ll be sure to update about those as they happen…
